The AYA program is designed to support and empower adolescents and young adults with cancer through a comprehensive approach that includes providing essential resources, mentorship, and a strong, supportive community. The program also offers stress management and resilience skills to help participants manage the social, emotional, and physical health challenges of a cancer diagnosis. We aim to support you and enhance your well-being during your cancer journey.
The WVU Medicine AYA program supports adolescents and young adults 15 to 39 years old. The AYA program is supported by the WVU Cancer Institute and the WVU Children’s Hospital.
