The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuroimmunology Clinic specializes in:

• Diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases affecting the brain and spine, including neuromyelitis optica, neurosarcoidosis, and MOG antibody disease
• Treatment with disease-modifying therapies to prevent new inflammation, new attacks, and new MRI lesions
• Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of the day-to-day symptoms caused by these diseases

Multiple sclerosis is the leading cause of non-traumatic neurologic disability in young adults. However, many people diagnosed with MS now do very well in the long term because of significant advances in MS treatments in recent years. Early diagnosis is key to preserving function in people with MS.
