What We Do

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry provides compassionate, science-driven treatment for individuals affected by substance use disorders. Our addiction services support recovery through integrated medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health care.

We treat addiction as a chronic medical condition and provide care that meets patients where they are — physically, emotionally, and socially.

Who We Are

The Addiction Services team at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute provides compassionate, evidence-based care for people living with substance use disorders. We treat addiction as a medical condition and offer personalized care focused on safety, dignity, and long-term recovery.

Our multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and recovery specialists works together to support patients at every stage of care. As part of WVU Medicine, we deliver expert treatment close to home while advancing addiction care through education and research.
