  • 21 therapy dogs provided comfort and companionship
  • 14,217 e-cards were delivered to patients
  • 1,456 Welcome Baby Bags were assembled for WVU Medicine Golisano Childrens Hospital
  • Volunteers participated in 28 No One Dies Alone (NODA) vigils, offering compassionate companionship to patients in their final moments

“Our volunteers make a lasting difference for our patients and their families by giving their time, compassion, and support,” Kimberly Hartsell, director of WVU Hospitals Volunteer Services, said. “While we set aside one special day each year to recognize their dedication, we are thankful every day for the impact they have across WVU Hospitals.”
