WVU Medicine Plastic Surgery moves to Shepherdstown, enhancing access to specialized care across Eastern Panhandle
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Plastic Surgery has officially reopened in a newly designed space at the WVU Medicine Shepherdstown Medical Office Building, offering easier access to trusted surgical and non-surgical care for patients across the Eastern Panhandle.
“This move is part of our long-term commitment to Jefferson County,” Mark O’Hern, president and CEO of WVU Hospitals East, said. “We’re investing in an already outstanding practice, expanding its reach, and making sure expert care is available close to home for the people we serve.”
Located just off W.Va. 45 West, the new space offers streamlined access for patients traveling from Martinsburg, Charles Town, and surrounding communities. The clinic features private treatment rooms, easy parking, and a welcoming environment for a full range of services—from consultations for abdominoplasty, mommy makeovers, body contouring and facial aesthetic surgery to in-office treatments with injectables including Botox cosmetic and fillers.
The practice is led by Jack Gelman, M.D., a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience, and Sarah Cross, P.A.-C., a physician assistant with a decade of experience and a specialized focus in aesthetic medicine.
