The WVU PDX Core Facility (PDXCF) is a central resource for development and production of patient-derived tumor xenografts (PDX) in mice and expansion and cryopreservation of established PDXs representing a variety of human cancers. Operating out of the OLAR animal facility in the WVU Health Sciences Center, the PDXCF provides these services to the WV research community on a fee-for-service basis. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art human tumor models and expertise to further advance the research and developmental therapeutics capabilities of WV researchers and clinicians and find a cure against cancer.
