An opportunity for all graduate students across the HSC to meet and discuss any questions or concerns they have about their graduate programs.

The Town Hall intends to connect graduate students with the HSC Office of Research and Graduate Education administration. This event will be streamed online and questions taken in person as well as emailed to Nicole.Beason@hsc.wvu.edu during the session.

    Review of regulatory requirements associated with basic science laboratories at the HSC

    In response to many concerns raised by PIs across the Health Sciences Center, the Office of Research and Graduate Education has undertaken an informal audit of regulatory requirements associated with basic science laboratories at the HSC. In partnership with the offices of Research Integrity and Compliance (ORIC), Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and the HSC Information Technology Services group, we identified reductions in the scope, frequency and length of several requirements, while still ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.     Week-long course offered highlighting holistic approach to wellness

    Foundations of Wellness (SBHS 630, CRN 52244) is an intensive, week-long course designed to give students a retreat-like, experiential learning opportunity. The course combines readings, mindfulness exercises, in-class lectures, discussions, group learning activities, and more to bolster overall understanding of wellness.
